Explain what happens when the temperature of a fixed mass of ice is raised from 0 degree to 10degree Celsius

•  The temperature remains at 0⁰C until all ice has melted and then rises at heat is added.
• The volume decreases to a minimum at 4⁰C and then increases with temperature up to 10⁰C.
