• The wavelength λ_m at which maximum energy is radiated for temperature, T ia such that λ_mT = constant. (Wien’s displacement law)
• If E_λm is the height of the peak of the curve for a temperature T, then E_λm  T⁶
• The total energy radiated per square meter per second by a black body at temperature, T, is proportional to T⁴ (Stefan’s Boltzmann law)
