Describe standard Hydrogen electrode

Standard Hydrogen electrode 

It consists of hydrogen gas at 298K and pressure of 1 atmospheres bubbling over a strip of platinized foil (i.e. platinum coated) in a solution which is 1M with respect to H⁺ ions as shown in figure below
