Carbo, Silicon, and Germanium do not react with hydrochloric acid
Tin (Sn) liberates hydrogen
Sn(s) + 2H+(aq) Sn2+(aq) + H2(g)
Pb (lead) does not react with dilute hydrochloric acid due to formation of insoluble salts.
