Distinguish between mutual and self-induction.
Distinguish between mutual and self-induction.
Mutual induction is a production of e.m.f in a conductor caused by change in magnetic field linking it due to change in current due to nearby circuit;
while self- induction is the production of an e.m.f in a conductor caused by change in magnetic flux linking it due to the change in the current in the same conductor.
