Explain why iron (III) ions are more stable than iron (II) ions
Explain why iron (III) ions are more stable than iron (II) ions
Oxidation state Fe3+ ([Ar]3d5) is more stable than F2+ ([Ar]4s13d5) because Fe3+ has stable half full stable electron configuration while Iron (II) ions do not.
