- The wavelength λm at which maximum energy is radiated for temperature, T ia such that λmT = constant. (Wien’s displacement law)
- If Eλm is the height of the peak of the curve for a temperature T, then Eλm T6
- The total energy radiated per square meter per second by a black body at temperature, T, is proportional to T4 (Stefan’s Boltzmann law)
