Uses of potassium permanganate VII

Potassium Manganate (VII), KMnO₄

– It used as an oxidizing agent to oxidize alcohols and aldehydes to carbonyl compounds and carboxylic acids respectively.

– it is used to standardize iron (II), Hydrogen peroxide  and  oxalic acid
