what is an Ideal solution?
Ideal solution
An ideal solution is one that obeys Raoult’s law.
Solutions that obey Raoult’s law have uniform forces of attraction between like and unlike molecules.
Formation of ideal solution does not involve change in temperature nor volume.
Ideal solutions are often obtained by mixing two or more non polar solvents, example Heptane and octane.
