What is meant by resonance in a circuit?
Resonance is when in the LCR circuit, the impedance and current is maximum. Resonance in the circuit is the result of oscillations in a circuit as stored energy is passed from the inductor to capacitor.
It occurs when inductive reactance (XL) is equal capacitive reactance (XC) and the impedance of the circuit is equal to resistance value as Z = R.
