(a) (i) Mortality rate is the number of deaths per 1000 live birth.
(ii) Fertility rate is the average number of children a woman has produced in her lifetime.
(b) (i) Country with highest mortality rate is Senegal
(ii) Country with lowest mortality rate is Kenya
(c)(i) The higher the percentage of educated females, the lower the fertility rate and the lower the percentage of educated females the higher the fertility rates with the exception of Indonesia
Reasons
- Educated women may practice family planning
- Educated women start producing at a later age after school
- Educate women are more conscious of the quality of life for their children
- The working educated women may have careers that hinder them from producing.
(c)(ii) The higher the percentage of educated females the higher the vaccination rate
Reasons
- Educated women live close to the vaccination centers
- Educated women have high awareness about the benefits of vaccination
- Educated women may be less prohibited by culture.

- Poor transport network in rural areas hinders people in rural areas to reach health facilities
